BARISCIANO
The Trail dei Parchi is an unsupported cycling experience in the most beautiful places in Abruzzo.
The main settings for the event are the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, the Sirente Velino Regional Park, and the Majella National Park.
The starting point is the village of Barisciano, near the splendid city of L'Aquila.
There are 3 circular routes, each of which passes through the most beautiful and representative places in the three parks: Altopiano delle Rocche, Goriano Sicoli, Sulmona, Rivisondoli, Campo di Giove, Bussi, Rocca Calascio.

"The Trail of the Parks is an idea born from a group of bikers passionate about mountain bike adventures.
We were immediately struck by the beauty of Abruzzo, with its rocky mountains and small hidden villages.
Cycling in these lands takes us back in time, where nature is still wild and people tell stories of life.
During these years of preparation, we have met many bikers who have helped and supported us in this project.
We want to thank all of you who follow us and who have decided to discover this beautiful region through the Trail dei Parchi!
